SandFest organizers have set up free parking areas for event goers to catch a ride and ride shuttle to the site. SandFest organizers have set up free parking areas for event goers to catch a ride and ride shuttle to the site. Getting to and from Texas SandFest 2017 will be easy thanks to a free shuttle.

SandFest organizers have arranged for RTA (Regional Transportation Authority) busses to provide transportation to and from the site for free.

Buses will run from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday. The last bus will leave the site at 7 p.m. each day.

Riders may park for free at Roberts Point Park near the ferry landing or in the empty lot off Beach Access Road 1A at Gracie’s Way, next to BeachMart. Guests must enter and exit lot using Gracie’s Way. Guests may walk to the beach using sidewalk on Beach Access Road 1A or catch a shuttle service provided by Bron’s Beach Carts.

The shuttle from Roberts Point Park will take passengers to the beach at the end of Sandcastle Drive. There, festival goers may walk or take free golf cart rides to the SandFest site.

Another transportation option is the city shuttle, which also is free. A complete shuttle schedule is available at city hall and in the South Jetty’s Spring Visitors’ Guide, which is on newsstands throughout Port Aransas.
